Registration for this event ended on March 22nd, 2010 12:00 AM
See the front page of Scantlings 152 - this is going to be high-efficiency scribing, and some slam-dunk square rule, too. We'll recreate Jack Sobon's famous shed with a TFG team, supplemented by the big push provided by a good number of VMI Cadets. Timber framer should plan on arriving the evening of Sunday (3/21). Cadets come on board Friday (26th) at 1600hours. Project will be complete by dark on the 30th (Tuesday).

No registration fees will be charged for participation, though you may be asked to provide a resume or a reference.

Food and lodging will be provided.  A detailed packet of event info will be heading your way upon successful registration.

Timber Framing will take place at the Mullen Compound in Rockbridge Baths.

Timber Framers arrive 21 March (Sunday) in the evening.

Cadets come on duty at 1600h Friday (26 March)

Final assembly wil be at Lisa's House in downtown Lexington.

Project will be complete (roof, floor and walls) by sundown, Tuesday 30 March.

This is going to be a LOT of fun, (and a lot of work) over a short period of time.

Our Partner, Project Horizon, is a long time friend of the Guild, as are hosts Virginia Military Institute and Washington and Lee University.
